Online tests and a virtual company tour are the solution The German machine manufacturer Rhewum gmbH produces different types of screening machines. They have a perfect solution for every sieving job. To prove this, they invite their potential customers to their test center and do a sieve test with the customer`s product. In order to allow customers to follow the screening test during the Corona pandemic, RHEWUM gives them the opportunity to follow the tests online. The testing options at RHEWUM are very extensive, because RHEWUM has a large number of different screening machines. RHEWUM is mainly known for the WA and WAU sieving machines. These work with a direct excitation of the screen cloth. The housing of the machine does not vibrate, but the slanting sieve cloth is knocked up at the bottom with knocker bars. The particles make small jumps and move down the sieve cloth. This allows very fine separations (up to 0.16 mm). To sieve large quantities into coarser fractions, RHEWUM has the DF sieves with double frequency.

Lödige`s Ringlayer mixer CoriMix® for continuous operation
especially developed for creating very fine granules The Lödige CoriMix® is a high-speed, continuous mixer that creates very fine granules through the homogeneous mixing of liquids into powdery substances. The machine is relatively small but once the process is well defined, the CoriMix® can handle high throughputs. The powder is dosed from above and the liquid can be added through nozzles on the bottom of the CoriMix® or through the mixing shaft. By mixing the powder with a liquid and eventually a binding agent, you will create a bridging effect which automatically creates small granules. In general the resulting grain size is between 100 µm and 1.5 mm. If you target bigger granules, then a continuous Lödige Ploughshare® mixer KM or a Lödige Ploughshare® mixer FKM or FM for batch processes is the better solution.
