The Vortex 2-way Wye Line Diverter offers positive sealing in both vacuum and pressure conveying systems. The scissor material shearing action allows the valve to be reliably diverted on a stream of material when required. The Wye Line is bi-directional and may be used as a diverter or a converger.
The Vortex Wye line diverter provides a number of advantages over traditional flapper and rotating tunnel style diverters and eliminates trouble spots inherent in these diverters, available in 50 to 300mm pipe or tube. The wye line diverter provides good sealing, low installation weight and fast in-line maintenance. Use of durable seal material make the Wye Line Diverter an excellent choice for high cycle applications.
Adapting the diverter to meet system requirements is possible due to a large selection of actuators, position indication switches, flanges, and tube stubs. The Quantum Series also offers a wide variety of modifications to accommodate high or low temperatures, corrosive, humid, and hazardous environments.
