On 29 March 2010, ERIKS bv acquired Kubra Plastics in Nuenen, the Netherlands, part of MCB International bv, Valkenswaard. The activities of Kubra comprise the marketing, sale and customising of products and services in the field of plastics technology.
In 2009, Kubra realised sales of approx. € 4.5 million. Kubra supplies its products directly to the industry. As a part of ERIKS bv, Kubra will continue to serve its customers independently. Both Kubra’s and ERIKS’ customers will benefit from the joint plastics assortment, the product and application know-how, the product development and the logistics services.
With the acquisition of Kubra, ERIKS strengthens its market position in the core activity industrial plastics in particularly the South Netherlands and is in an even better position to offer its customers an integrated service package of technical plastics (industrial plastic semi-finished products, machined products and injection moulded parts).
