KREATE is one of the fastest growing producers of pigment pastes for colour dispensers in Europe. For their newest production plant based in Belgium KREATE turned to Draiswerke for all of their production requirements.
The first phase of the factory saw deployment of a Drais vacuum-dissolver plus two vertical bead-mills. KREATE formulates and produces pigment pastes for popular in-shop paint dispensing systems and needs to stay ahead of the lastest technological developments. KREATE therefore wanted the DCP Megaflow 12 lab/pilot-plant mill for development work on new pastes. However, this high-performance mill is no slouch in the pilot plant role either!
Production volume is taken care of by the Draiswerke ACS-100 Megaflow mill with 8,5 litre high energy density milling chamber. This mill features a dynamic separation sieve which allows the use of very fine grinding media and an advanced rotor cooling system to keep product temps well below the critical treshold.
Draiswerke’s agent Agencies & Consultancy, in a co-operation effort with Brussels based contractors GUERCON have seen to all installation and fitting chores at this new factory. All equipment is integrated in a cooling loop that sports two roof-mounted cooling towers. These simple yet effective units are very affordable, virtually maintenance free and provide sufficient cooling capacity for a factory of this size. The new KREATE plant was declared fully operational in December 08.
