Airconveyors International B.V. nearly finished their air supported conveying system as part of a ship loading installation at Nutreco’s business unit Skretting A/S Averøy in Norway which is the global number one producer of marine fish feed !
Their delivery consists of two parallel Airconveyors® type LB650 with a length of 65 meter each, including of a open steel structure (belt bridge) with a walkway down the middle. The conveyors are going to carry the end product (fish feed) from the factory crossing the existing warehouse overhead into the new quay building to load the ships.
Each conveyor designed to supply 100 tonnes per hour. (equivalent to 160 m³/h).
This environmental friendly air supported conveyor system runs with minimal friction and wear and is therefore very reliable, low in energy consumption and requires hardly any maintenance!
