Dinnissen Process Technology (Netherlands) and K-Tron Process Group (Switzerland) will be introducing a new mixing concept for the high-quality food processing industry together at Powtech in Nuremberg. The Pandora End of Line Mixing concept is specially intended for situations where high demands are placed on the rapid, careful and extremely homogenous mixing of a maximum of 10 (micro)components. The concept is especially suitable for conditions where the quick and easy switchover to new recipes and the prevention of contamination and segregation are important factors. An additional benefit is its low energy usage.
Rapid, careful and extremely homogenous mixing
Pandora End of Line Mixing works according to the principle of continuous mixing, whereby raw materials are continuously added and removed from a compact mixer. The concept therefore comprises a number of K-Tron`s accurate gravimetric feeders and Dinnissen`s esteemed PegasusŪ mixer. The special feeders accurately measure the supply of ingredients to the PegasusŪ mixer. This can also apply to micro-ingredients (0.01-2% per batch weight) and even extremely high percentages (30-220% per batch weight). The quick reaction time of these gravimetric feeders limits production loss during the start up and slow down periods.
Ultra hygienic and effortless switchover to new recipes
Thanks to its clever construction, the PegasusŪ mixer mixes raw materials at high speed until a homogenous mixture is obtained.
