Master Engineering B.V. (Ede, Holland) is introducing a new Flowmeter for Solids for pneumatic transport applications. The Flowsensor (FM10-F) will be mounted into the pipe (see picture). The measurement is done by a Microwave principle, so there is no contact with the product itself. Moicrowaves are measuring the concentration and speed of the product. These two variables are integrated by the electronics, so we will get a flow output in kg/sec, which will be shown at the display.
In case of a large pipe diameter or high accuracy, two sensors will be mounted.
Free falling applications in many occasions are also possible.
The sensors can be dilevered in the ATEX catagories II2D and II3D (zone 21 and 22).
There is also a Flow-no-Flow version available.
