With COMSOL Multiphysics you are empowered to build the simulations that accurately replicate the important characteristics of the designs. This free-of-charge workshop will demonstrate how simulation problems involving mechanical waves and vibrations are solved using the Acoustic Module from COMSOL Multiphysics.

COMSOL develops easy-to-use software for modeling and simulation of real world multiphysics systems. The Acoustics Module from COMSOL Multiphysics solves problems in the general areas of acoustics, acoustic-structure interaction, and vibration. This module is specifically designed for those who work in classical acoustics with devices that produce, reduce, measure, and utilize acoustic waves.

At the workshop, we will provide an introduction to modeling acoustic phenomena in the COMSOL Multiphysics environment and demonstrate COMSOL`s capabilities in this area. During the computer hands-on session you will get a chance to test COMSOL Multiphysics self and work through a tutorial problem related to acoustic simulations.
