Modeling has never been easier - or more powerful - than what COMSOL Multiphysics offers you today. Join the workshop to find out how to analyze and solve heat transfer simulation problems by using the Heat Transfer Module of COMSOL Multiphysics.
COMSOL develops easy-to-use software for modeling and simulation of real world multiphysics systems. The Heat Transfer Module provides a combination of capabilities to model heat transfer via conduction, convection, and radiation, as well as the ability to couple these to other physics.
The goal of this workshop is to give an overview of Heat Transfer modeling using COMSOL Multiphysics version 4.2a. Topics covered will include modeling of radiation, convection, and conduction. Additionally, related multiphysics phenomena such as joule heating and conjugate heat transfer will be addressed.
The second half of the workshop will be a hands-on session in COMSOL Multiphysics. You will get a chance to work through one or more tutorial problems related to heat transfer simulations.
